Enterprise Routers and Routing Platforms
Branch routers and edge routing platforms are different tools — this page separates the two roles.
For importers, distributors and system integrators building out routing infrastructure, the enterprise router category covers a wide range of roles — from compact branch devices sitting behind an SD-WAN overlay to dense edge platforms handling service-provider traffic. Hui Tong supplies original, brand-new routers; three models are currently listed in the network routers range.
Enterprise Routing as a Category (general background, not a description of the listed models)
Enterprise routing equipment splits broadly into two roles. Branch routers are deployed at individual sites — offices, retail locations, remote campuses — where they provide local routing, WAN connectivity and, in modern deployments, an SD-WAN endpoint. Edge and service-provider routing platforms sit closer to the network core or carrier edge, where compact chassis, high-throughput forwarding and carrier-grade routing feature sets are the priority.
This page is written for three groups: importers and distributors sourcing recognizable enterprise brands for resale; system integrators specifying routers into branch rollouts, campus refreshes or managed-service builds; and network operators sourcing compact edge platforms for aggregation and peering roles. The model list below shows only what is currently listed.

Selection and Sourcing Notes
Matching a router to the right role is the first step: decide whether the deployment calls for a branch-class device or an edge routing platform, then check the data sheet of each candidate against that role. The listed models are the Cisco C1111-8P and C1111-4P (listed as ISR1100 enterprise routers) and the Juniper MX204, listed as a Universal Routing Platform with part number MX204-HWBASE-AC-FS; the listings do not state deployment roles, so confirm fit and the exact part number before ordering.
